Last Day of School!

Field Day, RLS, 5/30/08

Kaylee saves a goal.

Waiting for the next kick.

Now it's her turn to try to make it in.

She made two out of the three goal attempts she made. :)

Parents were lined up in chairs watching...

It's hot out there-time to grab a drink of water and relax by the sidelines.

Kaylee on the "Irezona" team. Ireland and Arizona combined. :)

The headband drove her nuts...

Her team lines up for a balloon relay.

They have to put it in between their knees then hop all the way across the parking lot to their team member on the other side.

She briefly lost her balloon-but so did the other guy, so it worked out. ;)

The team lined up to do the obstacle course.

Kaylee is next to go, and she's watching closely.

Popping her knuckles against her cheek. *sigh*

Biting her nails as it gets closer to her turn. *sigh*

Tag, she's it, and away she goes!

She really did a good job moving fast.

Racing around the course.

And time to tag the next guy in line and walk it off. :)

At the end of the course, the whole team has to carry their co-captain across the playground and back to the start line.

Kaylee gets right in there.

She's laughing back there as she tries to not drop her co-captain.

Mission accomplished, time to wait for the results of the races.

The kids are listening to the names of the teams from the bottom up.

Kaylee's turn to get a popsicle, and her team came in 6th out of 13 teams.

Racing back to eat the popsicle before it melts.

And one little victory hop for not being at the total bottom of the list of teams. ;)
