Kaylee marches into her last swim lesson of the summer.

Contemplating going down the big slide in the deep end today...

As usual, Kaylee hangs out with her instructor for awhile.

Finally getting in by the "baby slide", in the shallow section.

This giant splash mark is Kaylee having gotten up her courage and slid down the medium-sized slide in the deep end of the pool (7'), with no life jacket on.  (Jackets aren't allowed on the slides.)

And this is a picture of my baby popping up after her slide dunk, and trying-only marginally successfully-to stay afloat.  I sort of need an aspirin and/or an inhaler at this moment.

Of course this is the lifeguard that I prepped ahead of time to help her get to the side of the pool safely.  :)
