That pained look on Kaylee's face comes because she 1) apparently had
a wedgie and 2) she was busy saying "Mommy, I can feel the sparks on my
hands!"

This was supposed to be a smiley face, but she put the nose and
her smile on the wrong side. So it's an upside down smile, sort
of. :)
This was the "hunt for sparkler sticks" that may be sticking out of
the ground. I didn't tell them we already had them all until I got
a picture of them hunting.
We lit up the fire pit and enjoyed a nice bonfire for awhile as well.
And then came the home fireworks.
Lon and Steve were on the other side of the yard making little
comments, I was the lighter-upper, and everybody else watched.
Thanks to the bad influence of Television, Kaylee decided she wanted
to take our whipped cream for our strawberry angel food dessert, and
smash it in her face.
So she did. Which surprised me.
She found that highly amusing, as you can tell.
Kaylee the "Pony" with her reins dragging behind her waits for her
'master' to finish packing a bag and come play.
Still patiently waiting, and swinging. :)
